Roles and Responsibilities of a Scheduler
Makes all updates to agent database (Supervisors, new agents, start times, preferences, etc.)
Facilitates vacation time and special day off requests.
Within given parameters, creates schedules to meet weekly forecasted requirements.
Ensures accuracy and timeliness of schedules.
Facilitates volunteers for holiday schedules.
If used, facilitates schedule bidding process.
Creates new scheduling strategies using workforce management software, for optimal scheduling.
Develop What-if scenarios analysis.
Identify the implications of a shared-seat versus dedicated seat configuration on scheduling options.
Client / Internal and External Customer Management.
Diligently handling issues, escalations and complaints from operations and clients.
Ensuring the value added reports on root cause analysis of SL performance, staffing, agent utilization and seat utilization.
