Job description

Function Enabling Area

Service line TSS

Job level Level 3

Specific skill set required Software Asset Management, IT Store Management, Procurement Management, IT 

Graduation Engineering(BTech) or MBA from tier 2 

Professional qualification

Work experience 3 years

The key job responsibilities include the following:

Involve in day-to-day IT asset management activities, which includes.

 Receive all new shipments, confirm the accuracy of the shipment and fax a copy of the 

packing slip information to the Regional Asset Manager(RAM).

 Perform all relevant asset tasks as they pertain to technology setup, transfer, and/or 

termination.

 Coordinate the allocation of all assets to users as needed.

 Coordinate user upgrades and lease end return process for all End Of Lease assets.

 Confirm and verify all laptop records are accurate (as they pertain to the local office).

 Receive and confirm all relevant customer asset forms received from local TSS team.

 Work with Regional Asset Manager to coordinate laptop purchases and lease end returns.

 Perform a weekly onsite inventory and email the information to the RAM by end of 

business every Wednesday.

Asset Management

or Tier 3 colleges

The key skills required are as follows:

Must Have:

 Strong hands-on knowledge on Microsoft office applications.

 Excellent written, verbal communication and analytical skills required. Must be able to 

easily grasp and communicate complex ideas.

 Excellent relationship management skills & proficient in handling day-to-day activities in 

co-ordination with all the departments for smooth business operations. 

 Excellent documentation skills.

 Ability to define and refine processes to be more efficient and simple.

 Ability to execute in adherence to processes.

 Superior testing and troubleshooting skills.

 Demonstrated track record of outstanding team participation.

 High organization and planning skills.

 Functional knowledge of asset management, to be able to work with cross functional 

teams(technology, Finance, Procurement, Operations)

 Ability to interact with various levels in the firm

 Ability to grasp quickly understanding of compliance needs and enforce them under 

tough situations/circumstances with peers and senior executives

 Experience in internal transactions audit, compliance, Management reporting and 

analysis highlighting exceptions/descrepencies, follow through action ownership

 Expert problem solver. Finding simple answers to complex questions or problems. 

Thinking outside the box. Uses knowledge gained through prior experience, education, 

training to resolve issues and remove project barriers.

Nice To Have:

 Hands on knowledge and experience in working with SAP based applications.

 Knowledge on CA Unicenter and asset tracking system / Leased Management system

 Basic knowledge on laptops and its configuration.

Other details

Work timing 9 AM to 6 PM and/or 11 AM t0 8 PM (Need to work on weekends, if needed)
