About this position
As one of our front end developers you will be creating visually appealing interfaces and have the opportunity to work on HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
About candidates
You have industry-leading technical abilities. You demonstrate a breadth and depth of knowledge in the following disciplines:
Excellent HTML, CSS and JavaScript programming skills
Experience with JQuery.
Experience integrating with server side code to produce dynamic pages.
Have worked on responsive layouts
Developing cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions
A strong understanding of interface design principles and accessibility.
You write high quality, maintainable, and robust code
You solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context. You build flexible systems without over-engineering and choose simple, straightforward solutions over more complex ones.
You possess ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic, small company, start up environment
You love your text editor but like talking to customers directly and get a rush when something you have created makes a difference (you made my day!) so exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must.
You continue to move forward in the face of ambiguity and imperfect knowledge. You do not suffer from "analysis paralysis".
You have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 2+ years of industry experience, preferably in a startup or a product development focused team.
