Job Description for Release engineer

We are looking for proven build and release engineers who are passionate about providing the tools, integration and support to deliver a world class SaaS application. The ideal candidate will share our passion for continuous integration, continuous delivery and automation to produce frequent high quality releases.

You will be responsible for the team builds and deployment to our saaS following build best practices, standards, procedures, and tools. You will work in Build & Release Engineering team to provide guidance to other developers. You will part of our core team to build the best of breed self-healing deployment systems that can be upgraded at a single click.

You must have a rock solid understanding of SaaS tenets; have a passion for algorithms and rigorous software engineering. You must be an ace developer yourself and you know what it means to ship certify software.


Basic Qualifications

2+ years' experience in software build and deployment.
Experience solving complex software problems.
Understanding of Object Oriented analysis
Understanding of network concepts
Experience with any open source Software configuration/version control tools such as GIT
Experience with any build and deploy automation tools.
Experience with Continuous Integration, such as TeamCity, Hudson or Cruise Control
Experience in C# , .NET & SQL Server 2008
Experience in asp.net web build & deployments.
Experience in any scripting languages like msbuild, nant etc..
Excellent Communication and Analytical Skills
