We have an urgent opening with our client which is a US based MNC and a product based organization.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Required:
* Superior telephone etiquette and verbal phone-support
* Excellent communication skills and experience in providing support to customers
* Demonstrates skills in documenting and updating customer issues
* Ability to deal with difficult customers and situations
* Experience documenting issues and clearly communicating their resolution
* Provides telephone support 24*7
* Escalates problems to higher support tiers as appropriate.
* Submits requests for products and documentation to be shipped to clients.
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
* Patient trial and error troubleshooting
* Methodical deductive reasoning
* Good working knowledge of Windows operating system, MVS, and IBMi (AS/400) platforms
* Experience with other varied computing concepts including, but not limited to: Software installation programs, version control, enhancement request and bug tracking tools, web services, XML, HTML, Java, JCL, TSO/ISPF, SQL, Oracle, JBOSS, LDAP, and Networking Concepts
* Basic understanding of software development methodologies
* Ability to manage a high-volume workload and still complete tasks on-time
* Excellent presentation skills
*Ability to instruct audiences on varied topics such that a transfer of knowledge occurs with high customer satisfaction
* Presentation of facts, figures, models, and technical concepts in a way that others can comprehend
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or similar related bachelor degree with commensurate additional related work experience
* Technology and Software Product Support Experience
* Customer Service and Support Experience
Desired:
* Advanced degree
* Technical certifications (i.e. Microsoft advanced certifications (LDAP, Server certification), CISCO (networking), Oracle, SQL, WebSphere, JBOSS)
